A leading group in French reggae, Broussaï has been setting stages on fire across Europe and beyond for nearly 20 years (Canada, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Spain, Jamaica, Polynesia, etc.). The band has won over audiences with the subtlety of its lyrics, the dynamism of its instrumentals, and melodies that always aim to evoke emotion.
A strong believer in the “Do it yourself” philosophy, its musicians have naturally built their journey by embracing independence and self-production. Even though several of their studio albums have been awarded “Best French Album” at the Reggae Music Awards in 2010, 2013, and 2016, Broussaï remains, above all, a live band. Highly accessible, their connection with the audience, combined with an explosive show, has become their trademark. The fervor that radiates from their performance is impossible to ignore.
After their last album, which focused heavily on ecology, Broussaï released Solidaires in April 2023, a new chapter in their career centered around humanism. In the current grim context of climate change, mass migrations, pandemics, and wars, the band aims to highlight the hope for a collective awakening and the need to unite to face these critical challenges.
Built through word of mouth, from their street performances to the biggest festivals, the band has become one of the most prominent French reggae acts. With nearly 1,000 live performances under their belt, Broussaï exudes contagious and communicative energy on stage!
